Jenny Simon, MC, LPC, PhD

Therapist, Author, Mental Health Educator, Public Speaker

Since 2000, I have been fortunate to help people who have had bad childhoods feel better and silence their inner critic.

As a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), I use Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). This technique has been described as the most cost-effective treatment for trauma.

People who haven't enjoyed traditional talk therapy have found success with EMDR as a way to get freedom from their past.

Working in higher education for 24 years, I hold a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Transformative Learning and Change from the California Institute of Integral Studies. I am the author of an award-winning book called, Do I Need a Therapist? A Consumer's Guide to Navigating Mental Health Services. I enjoy public speaking and I have consulted for TV segments and magazine articles about stress.

I have previously served as the College Chair and Clinical Director for an acclaimed CACREP University, where I supervised students for their Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.

"Jenny, I just wanted to say that meeting you has been my biggest blessing and I say that wholeheartedly. I am so grateful that the universe sent me you. I don’t know where I would be without your help and support. It has been a huge honor and privilege to work with someone as amazing as you. Thank you for seeing me for who I am. Thank you for listening. Thank you for allowing me to see my light."  JR
